NEDSI 2022—51st Annual Conference

A Half Century of Scholarly Relevancy

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I have the honor to invite you to the 51st Annual Conference of NEDSI.  This will be a very special conference.  It is NEDSI’s first in-person conference in three years: for the pandemic resulted in the cancelation of the 2020 conference and required the 2021 conference to be a virtual one.

The interest expressed by our many colleagues and friends in this year’s conference is a testament to the importance and relevance of NEDSI.  NEDSI is relevant and will continue to be relevant into the future for scholars and practitioners.  It is an organically vibrant institution where scholars and practitioners present their research and keep abreast of their areas of expertise and interlace into new horizons; it is an association were salient networking occurs; and friendships are made for a lifetime.  Conference participants have frequently stated that they enjoyed the amicable nature of NEDSI’s conferences.  It is with this spirit that all the Officers of NEDSI cordially invite you to our 2022 Conference in Newark, NJ.

The venue for NEDSI 2022 is the centrally located historic Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, NJ.  There is a special conference room rate for reservations made by March 7, 2022.  The hotel allows for easy access to all of Newark’s main attractions such as NJPAC, Newark Museum, Ironbound, and the annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Branch Brook Park—which will be during our conference.

The NEDSI 2022 Call for Papers can be found by clicking here. Conference papers, abstracts, and posters are to be submitted virtually at  If you have proposals for panels, roundtable discussions, sessions, and workshops, please email them to the program chair.  Such synergetic interactions on NEDSI 2022 conference theme—Disruptive Technologies in a Post Pandemic World—are strongly encouraged. You may find additional information on the conference at

All the Officers of NEDSI look forward to seeing you at NEDSI 2022!
